Another view of the gateway, along the Wapping. I stayed in Liverpool this week at a hotel near The Wapping and took some photos of this ancient monument of a working dock in bygone days. This gateway links Salthouse Dock on the right with Wapping Basin on the left. A carved plaque in the sandstone wall states 'MAY 1855', which is when the dock was built. The building on the right is the Atlantic Pavilion. I love the different shoots I took of this gateway both night and daytime
