The image is lovely but sadly there is no evidence provided that Dr. Jung ever uttered the words quoted. A citation is not found on the internet and an electronic search of Dr. Jung's Collected Works, Seminars and/or Letters does not reveal such an utterance. This is why the artist cannot provide a citation upon request. What Dr. Jung actually can be proven to have said is far more profound and would make a great piece of art: "It is not I who create myself, rather I happen to myself". ~Carl Jung, CW 11, Para 391

Hi Lewis, put the quote in Google and you can find the source. Lovely image, Chris. The quote by Jung is so appropriate to us all. People choose to be nice or not. Happy or sad. Optimistic or pessimistic. We can make excuses for our behaviour or become the best we can be.

Could you kindly provide a citation to the image above to prove it was actually uttered by Dr. Jung? Thank you

I usually don't feature images with superimposed text messages, but this one calls for an exception. I'm a big fan of C. G. Jung... -_-
